Being a college student is stressful enough already, and the last thing that I want to worry about is my outfit. Sometimes I wake up late from staying up all night studying for my exam, busy running around to make office hours, or just simply don’t have enough time in one day to iron my clothes. Anyone on the same boat?

T-shirt and jeans are my go-to combination when I need to be out the door in 5 minutes, run around doing errands all day, or simply going out to meet friends last minute. I wore this outfit when I went up to LA and had to wake up super early to drive...

I’m wearing an asymmetrical cut t-shirt and a pair of distressed jeans - an effortless but chic outfit! Seriously, it’s a pairing of two very simple pieces, but it looks super put together and it’s super comfortable at the same time!

Because the weather was nice (you all know it’s 70 degrees all year round in California), I didn’t have to put on a ton of layers like I would on the east coast. Depending on the occasion, you can definitely dress it up by wearing a structured blazer (like this). Since California does get a little chilly at night, I decided to bring a leather jacket just in case and it came in handy! Sometimes if I’m feeling lazy, I’d add an oversized cardigan (like this). I am all about comfort!

The secret trick here is tucking the shirt and adding a belt. When you have a simple outfit, the smallest details make the biggest difference. Accessorizing will be your best friend!
